If you are chilling with your phone or looking at stats like me, you might wanna use it just with one hand sometimes right?
I am not sure that anyone is aware of the iPhone reachability feature! At least I was not! So I want you to be aware of this nice feature.
If you have an iPhone greater than the iPhone 6, so an IOS device with a rather big screen, you probably cannot reach any corner of the screen with your thumb.
I have found out that there is a hidden feature that makes the iPhone half screen so that you can reach the top.
If you are wondering how to use your iPhone with one hand, I am going to reveal you these tricks valid for the system in general and also for the keyboard alone.
iPhone Reachability Feature
I will split this chapter into IOS reachability and one hand reachability for the Keyboard.
The first feature will make your iPhone half screen visible on the springboard and solve the problem of “How to use the iPhone with one hand“.
The procedure is very simple, you just need to go to:
Settings > General > Accessibility > Reachability > ON
Then all you have to do is to double tap on the home button to bring the screen down so that you can reach it!
Do not press the button, if English is not your main language tapping is different from pressing.
Reachability on the iPhone X is different than the IOS reachability on these iPhones:
You need to double tap on the devices above meanwhile you need to slightly swipe down just on the center bottom of your iPhone X.
You can have also this feature on your keyboard, you can move it more to the left or to the right so you can reach it in the whole.
My advice is to install gBoard on your IOS device. This keyboard is made from Google and it works way better than the default IOS keyboard.
Once you have this fantastic keyboard installed you will have an extra option when clicking the little globe symbol on the keyboard.
If you click the little arrow you can move it either to the right or to the left.
In conclusion, you can just double tap the home button on an iPhone 6S to shift your screen to the bottom so you can reach it with your thumb.
This is called iPhone reachability feature and you can find it in your iPhone settings. You can even watch this video if you want to have a visualization of this.
