A long detour through the open web

I'm an engineer by training (civil engineering, between the University of Miami and Bologna) who took a long detour through the internet and never quite came back.

For eleven years I worked in SEO and affiliate marketing: building content sites in competitive niches and learning, one site at a time, how attention actually moves online. Not a growth-hack story, a long apprenticeship in what holds up and what quietly stops working.

I'm the founder of Snerva, a site about sleep.

These days I'm most interested in what comes next: how machines decide what is worth citing. Not as a theory: I run the test on my own site and publish the results either way, including the ones that don't flatter me. Everything I learn goes into free datasets and tools that run in your browser.
