Food is one of the most important things in life, we are made of food and water basically, some people tend to put food, not as a first need and tend to be shallow in having a regular diet and food routine. Skipping meals and eating junk food is the worse thing you can do to your body, it will increase chances of cancer and problems in general. Every person has a different metabolism so it's hard to say what's better for you but for my experience, a human needs to eat often during the day small or big meals depending on the body type, the more often the more your metabolism increase in speed and will burn and stay in shape better. A fat person then it's better that eats often, 5 times a day small meals with no sugar etc.. A skinny person will eat often but big meals full of calories, sugar it's better to avoid for anyone.
