I am using gtMetrix<\/a>\u00a0to test my websites speed<\/span>. But you can also use Pingdom<\/a> and at the end of the configuration,\u00a0you definitely won’t use google speed insights<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Google Speed Insights<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0is less accurate than\u00a0gtmetrix, but it’s how\u00a0Google\u00a0sees your website<\/span> via his crawlers<\/a>. So you want to make google speed insights happy<\/span><\/strong> and achieve “GOOD<\/strong>” there for sure.<\/p>\n

If you just started a WordPress<\/a> site and you are going to test your site on gtMetri<\/span>x your speed can be pretty bad, even up to 10seconds<\/span> to load.\u00a0 (an ideal speed would be less than 1 second<\/span><\/strong>).<\/p>\n

I strongly advise you to make an account<\/span><\/a> and test it a few times<\/span><\/strong> now with gtmetrix<\/span>! Then, we are going to do the same at the end of this configuration<\/strong><\/span> to see how much faster your website<\/span> loads.<\/p>\n
